Whoa. That actually reminds me of a day that a woman brought out a dish… I think it was rice. She set the bin IN the existing rice. And I mean the corner of the steel tray resting in the food and scaped the rice from one bin to another.

I recall looking at the corner sitting in the rice and wondering where else it had been. EIWrd thing is, I ate it anyway. I guess I like to live dangerously.

I had the pork which was pretty dry. The cabbage and spinach were very good, though! Quality does seem to be going back up.

In regards to the spigot, I didn’t see tongues actually touching it but hands most certainly were.

I did. It didn’t help.

There’s just no excuse for bad customer service. Period. I don’t care how crappy your day has been or how much you hate your job. Take some pride in what you do. It’s a SERVICE position. If you don’t like it – find yourself a desk job where you don’t have to deal with people.

OMG – I still can’t believe that woman.

I am still surprised that she didn’t even acknowledge anything or anyone. She just yanked the tray right out of your hand.

What a let down to a decent meal experience. Talk about a bummer.

And those pint sized baseball players really scare me.

Thanks for writing this post. I have no energy for narrative this afternoon. Must have been the two helpings of turkey.

I can’t swear to viewing a spigot licking amidst the swarm of children. But it would be more sanitary for an ice cream guy to serve cones and such from behind a counter, at least until summer camps are over.

Here’s the CD I was thinking of, “Songs for Ice Cream Trucks.”
